Every fashionista knows that the first Monday in May is iconic - cue the Met Gala. Each year on this day, Hollywood’s brightest stars flock to the legendary steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art to show off their most creative ensembles. Rihanna Showstopper. Social media immediately fell in love with RiRi’s floral explosion on the Met Gala’s red carpet. Truly honoring the exhibit’s theme, the songstress donned a Comme des Garcons look from the Fall 2016 runway. She appropriately paired the piece with floral earrings.

Gigi Hadid Supermodel and fashion icon, Gigi Hadid walked the red carpet in a caramel asymmetrical Tommy Hilfiger dress. Staying with the the nude theme, Hadid kept her accessories simple. Her long threader earrings were a subtle complement to her stunning look.

Zendaya Go big or go home? Well, Zendaya was not going home! Her Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda ball gown flowed down the Met Gala’s red carpet. The yellow and orange tropical print welcomed springtime sweetness along with her coral lip. Zendaya accented the color scheme with a citrine cocktail ring and matching drop earrings.

Selena Gomez & The Weeknd  ALERT! Power couple of the evening! Finally putting the relationship rumors to rest, Selena Gomez and Abel Tesfaye of The Weeknd made a sweet appearance together on the Met Gala’s red carpet. Gomez donned a embellished Coach gown and a simple chain choker. Tesfaye got in on the bling and added a floral brooch to the lapel of his jacket to match his lady.
